Successful Time Management & Healthy Lifestyle
How many times we didn’t accomplish something we planned to
because of our poor time management skills. It happened to me so many times,
and it seriously made me think of the ways to change it. Since I finished 6
classes last semester with A’s, while working full time job, I know that there
is nothing that can stop you in achieving your goals. Stress and fear of
failure are something that can take control of your life if you allow it. That
can easily be avoided if your time management skills are your biggest strength.
Fear of failure is something that we try to fight every single day. I will share my tips on how to organize your
time, and manage to efficiently complete all the tasks.
1.
Buy a planner- It was so hard for me to get used
to writing all the tasks that I need to complete in my planner, but I managed
to do it. Everything is much easier when you know what is due on every day of
the week. That’s the first thing that we need to know. Because, how can we
organize our time if we don’t know what are the tasks that need to be
completed, and when are they due. You should already know at the beginning of
each week what is going to be your daily task and goal.
2.
Be organized- Clean your desk, and have your
papers organized. This is how you save time. It will take you much longer to
finish your tasks if you don’t know where your papers and assignments are.
3.
Don’t procrastinate- I used to do this when I
started going to college. I learned not to do it in a harder way. If you
procrastinate, the tasks will only add up and it will be much harder for you to
complete them all.
4.
Prioritize- We have to realize what is really
important in life and what isn’t.
5.
Goal setting- Set your goals high
6.
Treat yourself- When you accomplish all the
goals you’ve set for the week, have some “ME” time. Go get a massage, or go
shopping. This will relax you and motivate you even more.
Hard work pays off!
Remember, your goals should always
be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time specific. They also
have to be dream-driven, uplifting, method-friendly and behavior-driven.
Procrastinating means putting heavier load on your back, and when that happens,
stress and anxiety will take over. Trust me, everything is doable and
achievable if you plan and organize accordingly. There is nothing that makes me
happier, than when I go to bed knowing that I finished all of my errands and assignments
for the day. Follow the rules, and the success is promised!
Good advices ! I am student-athlete and every day I have to do lot of things. So this is very helpful!
